Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, serves North Texas and Southern Oklahoma from Denison, TX. We seek a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, patient-centered care and to lead the healthcare team in alignment with facility standards.

Current Texas or compact RN license, 2 years of acute care experience (IV insertions), and required BLS/ACLS/PALS are essential. Orientation will include required ECC courses as needed, with pre-employment assessments administered.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• Two years acute care experience required including IV insertions.
• RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider course will be provided during orientation or on transfer and must be completed prior to working.
• Must pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and address needs of populations served.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Apply Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing care.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
