Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, develops and implements individualized care plans.
• Assists in orientation and supervision of nursing staff and unit operations.
• Performs direct resident assessments and daily care.
• Supervises nursing personnel to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Formulates and updates nursing care plans using the nursing process.
• Assesses residents daily and adjusts care as needed.
• Assists physicians on rounds and communicates orders accurately.
• Participates in training and supervision of nursing staff.
• Demonstrates leadership and effective supervision principles.
• Manages conflicts with problem-solving and clear communication.
• Acts calmly in emergencies and prioritizes resident safety.
• Prepares daily assignments of duties and treatments.
