Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across all ages. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established policies and procedures, coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Required RN license in Georgia and BCLS certification; new graduates eligible. Bachelor's degree is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the Piedmont network.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• RN license (Georgia) required and BCLS certification required.
• Advanced field-specific certification if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
