Job summary

The Wyoming Pioneer Home in Thermopolis, WY is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services to residents, assess health problems, and complete annual and change-of-condition assessments.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Wyoming RN.
• 0-2 years of progressive nursing experience (0-2 years).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing services to residents and staff in chronic and acute care settings.
• Performs annual and change-of-condition assessments and ALF 102 forms.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician with proper documentation.
• Triages calls from staff, residents, and medical providers and handles routine concerns and emergencies.
• Communicates with the Physician and follows through on orders as appropriate.
• Maintains medical records, progress notes, and documentation.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Delegates nursing responsibilities within the Wyoming Board of Nursing Act.
