Job summary

Black Women\u2019s Mental Health Institute is seeking a flexible Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women\u2019s Health units.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to evaluate care, coordinate with departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality while aligning with the institute\u2019s mission and standards. A BSN is preferred and licensure must be active in Missouri or via compact.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Minimum of one year recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for specialized units.
• Certifications including BLS; ACLS and PALS for critical care and emergency roles.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform various movements required for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health units.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate care delivery.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certifications, and job-related physical demands.
