Bluegrass Care Navigators seeks a Flex/After-Hours Hospice RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home settings and affiliated facilities in Kentucky. The role supports continuity of care outside regular hours and collaborates with the hospice team to manage urgent needs and symptoms.

Shift pattern includes alternate weekends and after-hours coverage, with base compensation and on-call differential pay; nurses must be licensed in Kentucky and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State Board.
• Minimum of one year of general nursing experience preferred; new graduates considered.

As a Bluegrass Care Navigators' Hospice Team member, you will be a part of a team providing care and support to patients and their families who no longer receive treatments to cure their terminal illness but instead choose care to improve their comfort and quality of life. Our service allows our team members to focus on one patient at a time providing care where the patient calls home. While this often is a house or apartment, we also provide care at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. If a patient’s care needs are too complicated for home care or require a higher level of attention from nurses and other experts, we can provide care at one of our Hospice Care Centers.

Schedule:

Every other weekend 8:00am-9:00pm, 4 other shifts 9:00am-10:00pm - to be scheduled with manager

Incentive:

$4.00 per hour on-call shift differential pay for shifts after 5:00pm weeknights and all day for weekend shifts, in addition to base pay

Position Qualifications

• Graduateof an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered NursethroughtheKentucky Board of Nursingor through a participating CompactStateBoard of Nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of general nursing experience preferred; new graduate nurses will be considered.
• Demonstrates strong clinical nursing skills and the ability to maintain professionalism during emotionally challenging situations.
• Provides compassionate, patient-centered care while serving diverse populations with respect and cultural sensitivity.
• Adheres to accepted professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice.
• Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to hospice philosophy and the principles of death and dying.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state minimum requirements.
