Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Completion of an accredited RNFA program (didactic and clinical).
• Minimum of 2 years operating room experience with scrub/circulating duties.
• CRNFA certification from a recognized body preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon in the OR with exposure, hemostasis, and technical duties per surgeon's directives.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and determine the care plan.
• Ensure surgical instruments/equipment are sterilized and prepared before surgery.
• Provide postoperative care, assess complications, apply dressings, and manage pain.
• Collaborate with surgical team, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care throughout surgery.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Completion of an accredited RNFA program, including both didactic and clinical components
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience with surgical scrub and/or circulating duties
• Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) from a recognized body preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared before surgery

• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process
