Job summary

Candidates must have a nursing degree, BLS, and PA RN license; multi-state compact licensure is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for nursing practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• PA Registered Nurse license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Multi-State Compact RN license required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the health care team to individualize patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice.
