Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join the opening team at the new Summers Corner Emergency Department in South Carolina. This state-of-the-art facility will serve the growing community and offers a unique opportunity to help shape patient care from day one.

The position is full-time with a night shift (7p-7a). Ideal candidates must have a current RN license and be equipped with essential certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Join us in making an impact in healthcare!

Qualifications

• Successful completion of nursing service orientation program.
• NRP preferred, provided during training if not certified.
• TNCC required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse.
• Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients.
• Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics.
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

What We‘re Looking For:

• Current unrestricted RN license
• Successful completion of nursing service orientation program
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NRP preferred (provided during training if not currently certified)
• TNCC required within one year of hire
• IV therapy competency within one year
• Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competencies
• Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged

What You‘ll Do:

• Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse
• Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients
• Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified)
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports department goals
• Delivers nursing care aligned with established practice standards and clinical guidelines
• Must be willing and able to float to comparable nursing units as needed
