Job summary

Odessa Regional Medical Center seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to join its dedicated healthcare team. The RN will evaluate assigned patients, document nursing care, assist during procedures, and promote patient independence through education.

The position requires current Texas RN licensure and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This is a PRN Days role with hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering competitive compensation and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Texas is required.

• TNCC Certification is preferred.

Job Summary:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure, State of Texas required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC Certification preferred.
