This Experienced Staff RN will be working in our new facility at Mount Carmel Dublin, working three 12‑hour shifts per week on nights from 3 pm to 3:30 am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The RN collaborates in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

What you will do

• Provide nursing care, ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibit professionalism within the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program model.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence‑based practice. Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components.
• Accurately communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner and keep patients/families apprised and updated.
• Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For casual RNs: 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience will automatically enroll in the Nurse Residency Program.
