Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse in Georgia to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on a 12-hour night shift (7p–7a). The nurse will demonstrate thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, advocate for patients, support team dynamics, and function as a resource for staff.

GA RN licensure is required; BCLS is mandatory, with ACLS and PALS/ENPC within 12 months if not certified. TNCC preferred; one year of recent RN experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia (GA).
• Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.
• One year of recent RN experience preferred (within the past five years).
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS/ENPC mandatory within 1 year of employment if not certified; TNCC preferred.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment.

Position Requirements

• A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• B: Education: Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.
• C: Experience: One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years)
• D: Special Qualifications: Current BCLS. ACLS, & PALS/ENPC mandatory (required with in 1st year of employment if not certified.) TNCC preferred.
• E: Degree of Supervision Required: Is able to function independently w/ minimal supervision. Is directly responsible to the Charge Nurse in directing & providing patient care.
