Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join our fast-paced team. You will provide expert care in a Magnet-designated, Level I trauma center environment.

The role requires a 1-year ED nursing background, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and Basic Life Support certification. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ED nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

Responsibilities

Shift Details: Weekend Work- Work every Sat/Sun Day. Get Paid for 3 shifts.

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process
• Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and for supervises other patient care staff
• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients
• Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
