Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a Registered Nurse to prescribe nursing care, delegate activities, and coordinate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The role supports the hospital’s mission and ensures access to patient health information, with scheduling for nights on weekends and occasional extended shifts.

The RN must hold NC licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timeframes, and will participate in orientation for area-specific skills and patient growth needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina is required.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sat/Sun; extra 12 her shift every other week

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina.
• Certification in BCLS.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
• PALS required within 1 year of hire.
• Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients for whom the RN will be providing nursing care.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
