Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for assigned patients. The role includes direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, with a PRN shift from 1900 to 0700 and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment, accurate documentation, and timely medication administration, while collaborating with the care team to support our mission and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Uses nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Communicates with team and families; ensures understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

• Administers medications and IV therapy safely and promptly.
