Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift in a critical care setting. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor responses while documenting in the EMR.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential. The role requires RN licensure and BLS certification, with preferred ED/CCU or acute care experience.

Job Description

• Shift: Nights 7p-7a
• Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus * For Eligible Candidates

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
