Cayuga Health in Ithaca, NY is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will practice to the full scope of your license, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and NY RN licensure, with BLS during intro and ACLS/PALS by orientation. Onsite shifts include evenings and nights, with weekends as assigned.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Registered Nurses at Centralus are key members of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the Tompkins County community. Practicing to the full scope of their license, RNs actively contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services, collaborating with colleagues in a shared governance environment to improve patient outcomes and deliver optimal patient-centered care.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.

Location, Travel and Shift Requirements

• Onsite at Cayuga Medical Center - Ithaca, NY
• Less than 25% travel expected in this role
• Part Time Evening/Nights
• 2x12-hour shifts/week
• Weekends and Holidays as assigned

Pay Range Disclosure

• Standard Rate of $39.63 - $48.18 per hour plus benefits
