Job summary

Baptist Health Emergency at Clay in Fleming Island, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a full-time day shift position with a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 for external hires.

Responsibilities include providing emergent care, education to patients and families, and collaboration with physicians and care teams in a fast-paced environment. Required ADN/RN license; BLS; telemetry and hospital experience preferred.

Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
