Edward Elmhurst Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Evening shift at Edward Hospital. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, evenings 1:00pm–1:00am with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Requires ADN or higher; BSN expected within five years for ADN holders. IL RN license, CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Requires ADN or higher; if ADN, must obtain BSN within five years of start date.
• 1+ year ED nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in ED following policies and act per nurse practice act.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition; respond to changes and plan care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and work as part of the ED team; participate in shift operations.
