Mille Lacs Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across multiple units, guided by the nursing process. The role emphasizes collaboration with management, initiative, and adherence to policy and standards.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, MN RN license, and at least 1 year in an Emergency Department, plus successful background screening. In-house trauma training is provided within the first year of employment.
Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families.
