The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orangeburg Emergency Department, a Level III trauma center. You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate planning with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient safety during high-acuity situations.
Regularly handle infectious disease exposure, emergencies, and varied shifts. A Bachelor of Nursing is preferred; SC RN license and BLS certification are required.
The MUSC Orangeburg Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with 43 treatment areas. We proudly serve the surrounding communities of Orangeburg, Calhoun, Bamberg, and Barnwell counties for all their acute healthcare needs. Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
Work Environment Regularly exposed to infectious, contagious and blood borne diseases.

Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.

Minimum Qualifications Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. Current RN license in the state of South Carolina. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Some clinical or hospital experience is preferred but not required.
