Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, triage, stabilize and collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and PA RN license; one year of ER or acute care experience is preferred. The hospital offers a supportive culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least one year of clinical ER or acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Immediately stabilize incoming patients.
• Triage patients based on injury or illness level.
• Manage personnel, supplies, and equipment in the ED.
• Collaborate with emergency staff to deliver patient care.

Job Description

• Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients in the Emergency Department.
• Immediately stabilize incoming patients
• Triage incoming patient based on level of injury or illness
• Is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the Emergency Department
• Work with a team of emergency staff to help patient
• Graduate from accredited school of Nursing
• RN License in the State of PA
• Complete specific registered nurse orientation for the emergency room
• At least oneyear of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
