Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team in a day shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with providers and families to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will participate in performance improvement, maintain professional competencies, and support shared governance while mentoring other nurses and upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire.
• BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support) or RN eligibility with multi-state Compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as part of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, maintaining documentation.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and adherence to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Mentor and precept new nurses; contribute to positive work environment.
