Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (ACLS/ PALS/ etc. may be required per unit).

Responsibilities

• Involves patient and/or significant others in decisions regarding care.
• Documents and ensures plan of care includes problems, diagnoses, interventions and goals with target dates.
• Performs patient hand offs using SBAR and other safety tools.
• Maintains effective communication through the chain of command and with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participates in Process Improvement activities and completes required competencies.
