Middlesex Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Float across three sites. The role is 36 hours per week with a Shift 2 schedule and every 3rd weekend. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current and unrestricted Connecticut RN license or ability to obtain.
• Ability to assess health needs and perform nursing care safely and compassionately.
• One year of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
• BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in BSN program (preferred).
• Certification (Unit-specific) preferred.
• Emergency Department experience (preferred).
• Epic experience (preferred).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing


• Current and unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut or the ability to obtain.


• Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of acute care nursing experience


• BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in a BSN program

Compensation Range: $38.95 to $64.89

Note: The compensation range(s) above are a good-faith representation of the base pay rates for all positions at a given grade across the organization. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting pay rate somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual pay rates may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
