Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center, part of Methodist Health System, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds a Texas RN license or eligibility, and possesses current BLS certification with at least two years of RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using strong communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of the patient/family education process.
• Communicates with team, patients, and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Administers medications and IVs safely and timely as part of patient care.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Uses the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
