Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Nephrology team. You will work closely with physicians, dieticians, and vascular access staff to deliver high-quality dialysis care to patients.

Requirements include an active Nevada RN license and BLS; CNN and ACLS are preferred. 1–2 years of dialysis experience is desirable. This is a full-time, on-site role in our dialysis unit with opportunities for continuing education and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate nursing program.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and ACLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years dialysis nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis-related patient care in collaboration with nephrology team.
• Monitor patients during dialysis sessions and respond to complications.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Document care and outcomes in the EMR accurately.

Job Description

The Dialysis RN works with Nephrology medical practitioners to provide high-quality care to patients in need of dialysis related therapy. The Dialysis Nurse collaborates closely with medical practitioners, dieticians, social workers, and vascular access departments to meet dialysis patient care needs.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate school of nursing and a current state license to practice nursing.

Experience

Preferred 1-2 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in Dialysis nursing.

License/Certification

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and ACLS certification preferred.

Other

Must have basic computer knowledge and must be able to safely operate dialysis machines.
