Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes in Kissimmee, FL, for Full-time and Part-time Days.

Salary: $27 - $33 / per hour. Sign-on bonus eligible. The role includes competitive pay, benefits, and weekly paychecks, with opportunities for growth in a private duty/home health setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the practicing state.
• One year of hands-on nursing experience required.
• Current Health Certificate as per facility contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray and current BLS card.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the home setting.
• Initiates plans of care and revises as patient needs change.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to physician or supervisor.
• Reviews plans of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning as applicable.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of hands-on experience as a professional nurse is required
• Proficientin English
