Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Day Stay Team. This part-time position supports a fast-paced peri-operative unit with PreOp and Phase 2 recovery, serving 50–60 cases per day.

The role requires 2–3 years of Surgical Services Nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Located at Downtown Jacksonville facilities, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Surgical Services Nursing experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• AS Nursing degree.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise care and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare rooms and cases; assess care needs and anticipate case requirements.
• Work in a fast-paced peri-operative unit focused on Pre-Op and Phase 2 recovery.
• Manage high patient volume in the unit (50–60 cases/day).

Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Day Stay Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part time position.

As an RN in the Day Stay Unit, you will be responsible for:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
• This is a fast paced peri-operative unit, specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery.
• Patient volume can be 50-60 cases/day.

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years Surgical Services Nursing Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing
