Job summary

Accel Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in Plano, TX is seeking a compassionate RN to join our long‑term and rehabilitative care team. The Days shift 7a–7p, PRN, offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high‑quality nursing care in a patient‑focused environment.

As an RN, you will administer medications, follow physician orders, coordinate care plans, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN licensure is required.
• Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives and standards as per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns to meet resident needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes tasks and time allotments for staff.
• Oversees infection control compliance and investigates incidents.
