Job summary

Henry Ford Health Hospital seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide leadership and hands-on patient care at our Detroit campus. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

The role requires strong communication with patients and families, and the ability to adapt to day shifts and weekend rotations as part of a full-time benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Position: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Days 12 Hour Shifts
• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
