Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Registered Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process per hospital standards and unit policies.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, document care, and collaborate with other disciplines while providing patient education and ensuring safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of basic nursing education as approved by the state board.

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients.
• Completes assessment and individualizes plan of care within established unit/nursing guidelines.
• Carries out nursing care with consideration for cultural and psychosocial factors and ages of individual patients.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and performs nursing skills appropriate for the patient population.
• Anticipates patient/unit needs.
• Demonstrates sound knowledge base: Bio-psychosocial.
• Delegates and communicates effectively and appropriately.

Required Skills & Experience

• Zero (0) - six (6) months of related experience.
• Epic experience.
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ability to be detail-oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.

Required Education
Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.

Required Certification & Licensure

• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Shift Requirements

• 1 year of experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• BLS certified through AHA.

Start Requirements

• Cardiac Critical Care / Hemodynamic Monitoring.
• Cardiac ICU Experience.
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.
• Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO).
• NIHSS is preferred.
• Swan-Ganz Catheter.
