KDMC Ashland Hospital Corporation is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a vascular lab setting. The role involves critical care during procedures, adherence to nursing standards, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to critical care patients before, during, and after procedures in alignment with physician’s orders and individual patient needs. Ensures adherence to recognized standards of nursing practice and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educates patients and families regarding care plans and procedural expectations. Maintains accurate documentation to support quality and continuity of care.
Associate’s degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
0–2 years of experience in nursing, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS). Based on area assigned: Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certified, TNCC or BTLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certified (NRP).
This position requires regular standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittent standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; intermittent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects over 50 pounds; occasional sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). Also involves some exposure to risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.
