State of Washington is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 (RN2) for the Coyote Ridge Corrections Complex in Connell, WA. The position is full-time and permanent, with a Friday–Tuesday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule and the opportunity for shift differentials on evening and night shifts.
The RN2 will support Health Services, manage patient records, and care for a diverse patient population with chronic diseases in a correctional setting, including long-term and palliative care units.

Join the Department of Corrections (DOC) team to make a real difference in the lives of others and to find personal fulfillment in your role. DOC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center located outside the Tri Cities in Connell, WA.
Registered Nurses will receive shift differential in the amount of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for evening shift and night shift work. Employees may also qualify for one or both of these supplemental shift premiums in addition to the above.
This position supports the health services and DOC mission by ensuring that facility records are secure, complete and available on demand for the myriads of service areas within Health Services.

Correctional Health is a rewarding career path at DOC, in which health care professionals treat a wide array of cases for patients residing in a state correctional facility. Health Services is responsible for basic primary care for incarcerated individuals. All disciplines within all of the 12 correctional facilities work closely together to reach a common goal, providing the best, most efficient, and cost-effective health care possible. Emphasis is placed on early identification of health concerns, care for acute and chronic health problems, and preventive care.
