Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is hiring a Coronary Care Unit RN for full-time 12-hour shifts. The role emphasizes critical cardiac care, rapid assessment, and evidence-based practice in a high-acuity environment.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS & ACLS, BSN preferred, and expects to collaboratively monitor patients, manage vents if needed, and participate in family education and care planning.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in CCU.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostics and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.00 to $51.28 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
