Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks an experienced CCU nurse to provide direct care to cardiac and critically ill patients during night shifts. This full-time role involves 12-hour shifts within a high-acuity unit, with opportunities to advance clinical skills in cardiac monitoring and interventions.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor, treat, and educate patients and families while ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac and critically ill patients.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Assess and respond to cardiovascular status changes and treatment response.
• Communicate clinical changes and results to physicians.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and vasoactive drips per orders.
• Support patient and family education and guide nursing staff.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and cardiac events.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA and patient safety compliance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.

2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.

7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.00 to $51.28 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
