Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a highly skilled RN with a BSN to lead specialized nursing care for bone marrow transplant patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management and accurate documentation.

The role covers coordinating pre-transplant assessments, stem cell collection, and transplant procedures, maintaining complete patient records, and reporting to the Bone Marrow Transplant Registry while ensuring quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• BSN degree and 2 years of RN experience.
• Certifications in Chemotherapy and Biotherapy within 3 months of hire.
• Oncology Nursing Certification required after completing required hours.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and teaching abilities.
• Knowledge of transplant procedures, quality management, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to act as a mentor and advocate within a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of bone marrow transplant care, from screening to post-transplant follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports for the transplant registry.
• Ensure program compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Review policies, assist with budget planning, and liaise with insurance providers.
• Educate and mentor care team members, fostering professional development.
• Complete quality documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
