Job summary

Atlantic Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients and keep records.

You will work with care teams to implement and evaluate nursing plans, record vital signs, and perform related duties, contributing to high-quality, evidence-based care across our facilities in Morristown, Overlook, and Summit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; BSN may be required for ASN holders within five years.
• ACLS certification preferred; Master’s degree in nursing or related field may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
