The Clinical Informatics Coordinator (CIC) at HCA Florida JFK Hospital leads facility informatics initiatives, driving standardization, utilization, integration and optimization of the electronic health record and related clinical technologies.

You will coordinate project assessments, workflow mapping, and resources, collaborating with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to support clinician workflow and interoperability.

Competenze

• The CIC leads clinical informatics initiatives and supports EHR and related clinical technologies.
• Experience in an acute care hospital environment is required or preferred.
• Certification in Nurse Informatics is encouraged.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Informatics Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for the facilitation and leadership of facility Clinical Informatics by leading the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility projects related to clinical informatics, including:

• standardization
• utilization
• integration
• optimization

The CIC is the critical facility resource responsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies. They are responsible for the coordination, support, and completion of project assessments, project advancements, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics initiatives, including but not limited to provider order entry and documentation, standard clinical documentation, promoting interoperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow. The CIC will participate in the company-wide community of Informatics by working with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate degree in nursing
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current (per State) RN license
• Nurse or Health Informatics Certification is encouraged
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
