Job summary

Elemental Career Pathways is seeking a Per Diem RN Educator to lead a 3-week CNA hybrid training program. You will guide future CNAs through hands-on skills and clinical training, transforming online learning into real-world confidence.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation, delivering engaging sessions, and maintaining training records in compliance with NYSDOH. Travel across NYS 5–10 days per month is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience delivering in-service education or clinical teaching.
• 1 year of long-term care experience mandatory.
• Current RN license in NY (NYSED).
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Willingness to travel 5–10 days per month across NYS.

Elemental Career Pathways is seeking a Per Diem RN Educator to lead our 3 week CNA Hybrid Training Program. You’ll guide future CNAs through hands-on skills and clinical training, helping turn what they learned online into real-world confidence and experience.

WEEK 1: Students complete online learning

WEEKS 2–3: That’s where you come in!

Build a Career That Makes a Difference

• Coordinate and facilitate orientation programs for new nursing staff and patient care team members
• Develop and deliver engaging educational sessions, classroom instruction, and clinical training programs
• Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification and provide ongoing emergency response education
• Assess educational and competency needs related to clinical practice, equipment, policies, procedures, and quality initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance and educational activities in compliance with regulatory standards and NYSDOH requirements
• Support CNA development through presentations, online learning modules, simulations, demonstrations, and hands-on training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
• Experience providing in-service education or demonstrated skill in clinical teaching
• Mandatory 1-year long-term care experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through NYSED
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Must have reliable transportation Must be able to travel for a minimum of 5-10 days per month throughout NYS
