Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Medical Surgical Clinical Decision Registered Nurse in Topeka, KS. You will deliver safe, coordinated patient care under supervision of the Nurse Director/Manager.

You will assess needs, prioritize care plans, and delegate tasks, while updating plans to address clinical and psychosocial aspects of care, in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN licensure and associate’s degree in nursing.
• BLS within 14 days of hire; ACLS for Tele, ICU, and PCU; oncology certification for post-surgery care.
• All certifications must be obtained within the first year.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, at least one year of healthcare experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs, develop and prioritize care plans, and evaluate care delivery.
• Continuously revise care plans to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs.
• Delegate care appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
