Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decision Unit. This 24 hours/week role (7am–7:30pm) at Providence Southfield requires leading patient care coordination and applying the nursing process to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative team setting.

The RN will communicate with the care team, delegate and document care, and participate in care-plan variances to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
• Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

Health care provider certification (BCLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
