Saint Luke's North in Kansas City is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Operating Room to support the Clinical Nurse Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating daily unit operations. The role requires strong clinical leadership, independent judgement, and ability to guide staff in professional practice.

This is a full-time day position with flexibility to meet unit needs. The Clinical Coordinator will manage staff development, scheduling, and department records while acting as a change

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross) and Registered Nurse licensure
• Associate degree required

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, organize and coordinate day-to-day unit operations and personnel.
• Serve as clinical resource and role model with independent judgement and decision making.
• Coordinate staff development, maintain department records, and lead special projects.

This position assists the Clinical Nurse Manager in supervising planning organizing directing and coordinating the day to day operation of the unit including all personnel related aspects of the department. Serves as a positive professional role model exhibiting clinical leadership independent judgement and decision making skills. The Clinical Coordinator acts as a resource for the staff in the area of maintaining departmental records scheduling staff development and other special projects. The Clinical Coordinator assesses learning needs and plans implements and evaluates educational activities for nursing staff in the department. Serves as a clinical resource and change agent for staff in the promotion and support of the professional practice environment. Must be full time and have the flexibility to meet the unit needs.

This position is Full Time Days.
