Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current North Dakota RN or LPN license is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients and families in the clinic.

Job description

Under direction of the Clinic Manager. Coordinates nursing care for patient and family, initiates and participates in patient teaching. Ensures nursing standards of care are maintained, participates in direct patient care utilizing nursing skills, knowledge, and the nursing process. Provides delegation of other healthcare professionals in the clinic setting.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain resident and facility confidentiality at all times.Treat residents, visitors and coworkers with respect, dignity and kindness.Provide quality care for our patients to the utmost of our abilities and within the scope of our capacities.Complete the general facility orientation program within 14 days of employment including health screen, physical and immunizations.Complete the departmental orientation program and skills checklist within 90 days of employment.Participate in mandatory staff in-services and quality improvement studies.Maintain current licensure or certification based on job specific duties and responsibilities.Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
