Job summary

Symphony Care Alliance seeks a dedicated Part-time Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our Pain Management ASC team, operating Mondays and Tuesdays on the Day Shift. You will provide compassionate nursing care before, during, and after surgical pain procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor vitals, manage meds and IVs, and document all activities in the EMR (eClinicalWorks).

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license with current registration without restrictions.
• BLS on hire; ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (eClinicalWorks).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery with assessments, histories, and consent verification.
• Assist in setup and management of sterile fields, maintaining aseptic technique.
• Monitor vitals and responses before, during, and after surgery, addressing changes or emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, including anesthesia support and pain management.
• Document nursing activities accurately, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Provide specialized care for pain management procedures such as injections, stimulator trials, and nerve ablations.
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control protocols to enhance patient safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our Pain Management ASC team to work Mondays and Tuesdays Day Shift Part Time. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional nursing care before, during, and after surgical pain procedures ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, verifying medical histories, medication reconciliation, and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
• Assist in the setup and management of sterile fields, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic technique throughout all procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses before, during, and after surgery, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, including anesthesia support and pain management interventions.
• Document all nursing activities accurately, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients undergoing a variety of pain management procedures such as Injections, stimulator trials, and nerve ablations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols to enhance patient safety.

Requirements

Requirements: Georgia RN license with current registration without restrictions; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) on hire and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 30 days of hire,

• Ability to work effectively within EMR/EHR systems (eClinicalWorks)
• PreOp/PACU/IntraOperative experience preferred
• Excellent assessment skills combined with the ability to respond swiftly during emergencies involving airway management or ventilator support.
