Job summary

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, GA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental standards and nursing practices. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide compassionate care and advocate for patients and families.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN: Registered Nurse licensed in the state or eligible.
• Associate Degree required.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures, monitor, document care in the medical record, and administer medications as ordered.
• Provide responsive care by addressing patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
