Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state where the center is located.
• Two or more years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices/procedures and ability to work with trainees.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Dresses wounds and administers medications with time and amount annotated on chart.
• Orders drugs and medical supplies as required and maintains charts for trainees.
• Assists in physicals of all new trainees and maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Communicates effectively with staff and trainees and models employability skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
