Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a specific patient population. The role focuses on expanding knowledge and skills and delivering direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will delegate, validate, evaluate, and coordinate care across caregivers and services. Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have 2+ years of nursing experience, and are pursuing a BSN or plan to complete it within 3 years.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or diploma of Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Must have two years or more months of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong teamwork, accountability for patient care, commitment to ongoing education and patient-focused care are required.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team for a variety of patients.
• Direct and oversee care by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.

• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.

  BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
