Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care across the nursing process. The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration, and patient-family education within a fast-paced hospital setting.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited nursing degree, a current Texas RN license or eligibility, and a valid BLS certification, with at least two years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: At least 2 years RN experience

• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with the team, patients, and families and evaluates understanding.

• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and professional growth.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
• The Methodist Celina Medical Center campus will serve Celina and surrounding communities with a full-service hospital.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
