Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab under the supervision of the Unit Coordinator. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, assessing patients, and contributing to care plans with a focus on cardiovascular procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a Kentucky RN license, with BLS/ACLS preferred and Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license to practice in Kentucky.
• Active KY RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS preferred; Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer fundamentals of the nursing process under supervision.
• Contribute to nursing assessment and development of the care plan.
• Participate in evaluation of nursing care.
• Share responsibility for patients or populations in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Job description

Under the direct supervision of the designated Unit Coordinator, RN's demonstrate proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population in Cardiac Cath lab.
